Megan Dixon, LCSW

Hi! I’m Megan.

So far, I have spent my career working with individuals that are deeply impacted by traumatic experiences. I have witnessed how traumatic experiences often leave individuals feeling disconnected from themselves and their communities. I am consistently in awe of how individuals have survived the unbearable and I find a strong sense of meaning in my work.

My intention as a therapist is to work collaboratively with my clients to improve their overall well-being. I empower clients by providing psychoeducation to reframe difficult mental health symptoms as adaptive responses that can be met with compassion. My therapeutic style is gentle, personalized, and non-pathologizing. I aim to guide individuals on their journey to finding wholeness and integrating traumatic experiences. I believe that when individuals are more deeply attuned with their inner experience, communities begin to thrive and the world moves towards healing.
